Cisa takes part as a sponsor at the International AIIC Congress of Clinical Engineers.

The next Cisa Campus initiative for the dissemination of important key issues in the development of the Smart Hospital is the workshop to be held in Rome on October 22 during the “III International Clinical Engineering and Health Technology Management Congress” at the Policlinico Gemelli hospital. The congress, organized with the participation of AIIC, will be attended by global experts in healthcare, clinical and biomedical engineers, academics, experts, and companies in the industry that deal with technological equipment and healthcare products.

The workshop dedicated to “Sustainable economics: starting points for the Smart Hospital” will invite reflection and debate on one of the fundamental challenges that must be met without delay in the development of a Smart Hospital with a true health protection: sustainability.
What is the state of the art in research? What are the solutions for a smooth transition towards a circular economy in the healthcare industry with a view to increasing sustainability?

Significant experiences and case studies will try to prove how today’s products, including waste, can become tomorrow’s resources, containing cost increases in the health system and avoiding negative repercussions on local communities and the environment.
