A new collaboration between Polo Fermi Giorgi institute and Cisa Group was agreed yesterday in Lucca.
The headmaster of the local vocational and technical school Massimo Fontanelli met with Cisa CEO Attilio Tulimiero with the aim to create a strong relationship focusing on orientation, training and work experience courses for students of mechanics, electromechanics and computer science.
Cisa, part of the renowned Faper Group, designs, manufactures and supplies complete sterilization units in hospitals, laboratories and clinics and dental offices. CISA invests heavily in research and development and can offer students interesting opportunities for training and professional growth on innovative projects aimed at the implementation of IOT, Artificial Intelligence and robotics. The goal of this collaboration is to create a strategic alliance between school and business in an increasingly expanding sector such as that of the healthcare, pharmaceutical and research industries to ensure greater effectiveness in vocational education through practical school-work experience.
The meeting also saw the participation of Marialuisa Giannini of the Per-Corso training agency in Lucca, partner of the school in the creation of training courses and introduction to work for students, prof. Giulio Raimondi lecturer in charge of the mechanical area of the institute, the Operations Director of Cisa Guglielmo Grignaffini, the Technical Director of Research & Development Francesco Crotti, Paola Pellegrini in charge of Marketing area and Chiara Coppola, who leads Cisa Campus, the training department of the company.
